For You I Would Poem by Jane Z

For You I Would

They hear, but do not listen.
They look, but do not see.
They like, but do not love.
I'm laying awake thinking of you.

We talk, but also fight.
We laugh, but we also cry.
We hug, but I watched you leave.
I'm drowning in a pool for you.

The sky is clear, there is stars.
I turn around, the wind blows past.
Your shadow left. My heart is gone.
I learn to live without you.
