October Poem by Riza Braholli

October

O my friend, it was October
Fall had browned Linden tree.
drops of tears crushing over
draining into silent sea.

On your hair danced a leaf
I kept speaking, you in dreams,
in my hand took it to sheaf
leaving under autumn screams

In each Fall when trees are bare
and the roads covered with leaves,
ah, that leaf once danced on hair,
follows me still jitters gives.

Wow! Your work is astonishing, so well crafted it amazes me how it rhymes so beautifully, it does not lose beauty in translation. Mr. Alfred Kola certainly does an awesome job at translating your work. Congratulations to both of you. 🌹
