Oasis Poem by Kishor Kumar Mishra

Oasis

Rating: 5.0

I wandered here and there,
And ran from post to pillar,
Days after days passed by,
But no sign of getting a way.

Getting a job was a bare necessity,
Struggling for survival, so to say,
Failure after failure made me lost,
Felt like chasing a mirage in desert.

Suddenly One fine morning, I got a Call,
For attendant post in a shopping mall,
I felt like discovering an oasis,
In the deep desert of poverty crisis.

A fabulous write ..! The acceptance to a small offer is equated with the situation of availing a few drops of water in dissert.. beautifully penned.. expect many such works from your pen..!
