No Regrets Poem by Deanna Gorton

No Regrets

My sister was right about you,
I should have listen to her.
I don't know what i was thinking.
I heard the stories and I still went out with you,
But now I'm free.
I'm never going back.
I'm never going to make that mistake again.
I'm not going to get used again.
I'm not going to get hurt again.
Im better off alone than be with someone that doesn't care.
You may think this a little mean, but I don't care.
What you did was a lot worse.
