My Day Poem by Fredrick Nemes

My Day

Rating: 5.0

A poet from sub-urban
Waking up early than wild sparrows,
Doing exercises than special forces guards,
Before the sun is up my day has just begun shinny and tinny.

Dont have a to do list,
Ma brain works better than RAM,
With them calls coming from point A to B i ride,
Before the sun is set the office has me, reports awaits my judgement.

Dinner pops up when the sun is set,
Breakfast and lunch was fun dinner has to surpass,
Aint a restaurant buddy but ma own cooker and eater,
Before lights go out, am on my knees, thanking my GOD before a sleep.

Imagination lands has my plot,
Them good dreams are my close pals,
Slowly resting rebooting the inner me,
Tomorrow is also a day, though it may never come but with faith it will.
