My China Doll To Stacy Poem by Hobert F. Herpin

My China Doll To Stacy

With outstretched arms she comes running to me.
Chattering and squealing, and so full of glee.
A bundle of love all wrapped in her charms.
A delight to hold all this in my arms.
This tiny doll of whom I speak
Makes me strong whenever I'm weak.
She makes me laugh, although I am sad.
Can't wait for the day she'll call me Granddad.
She darts here and there with never a care
Then runs back to me; her joy to share.
Someday in heaven when the angels report
I'm sure in my heart, they'll come up one short.
God will look down from his heavenly hall
And shower his love on my China Doll.
