Oh my child…
The dark clouds hovered over the dusty terrain,
The Sun refused to shine.
And the rain nourished the passion within…! ! !

The wind lamented the storm raging inside,
The shore was a deathbed.
And the waves washed away the confused guilt…! ! !

Oh my child...
The rocks hindered the primrose path,
The river lost its strength.
And a stream of hope meandered its way across…! ! !

The fire engulfed the broken twigs,
The shadow prophesied an eerie silence.
And the sparks blazed a trail of valiant flames…! ! !

Oh my child...
The sky darkened into an inky black,
The universe echoed the breaking doom.
And the light shimmered from the celestial stars…! ! !

The brain imprisoned the wounded heart,
The thoughts killed the beats.
And the childhood dreams crucified the adolescent love…! ! !

Oh my child…
The half moon smiled over the fallen star,
Somewhere a heart broke.
And somewhere a lily bloomed…! ! !

Oh my child, dim your eyes…
Lose sight of this wounded world…! ! !
Oh my child, dim your eyes...
Drift away to a dreamy world…! ! !
Oh my child, behold the beauty within your tragedy,
For there is all meaning in between…! ! !
