Le Papillion Poem by Scott Barrymore

Le Papillion

A beautiful scene
Near the sea shore at night.
Gentle curling waves,
With edges turning white.

Suddenly I see,
A form in the distance approaching me.
Coming closer, her beauty envelopes my being,
Her peaceful radiance, is all I am feeling.

She moves with the elegance,
Of a butterfly in flight.
Gently moving the air, this calm quiet night.

Her luminous eyes catch my glance.
Watching, her beautifully choreographed dance.
As no other, I have ever witnessed before.
My Breathing was racing, my heart fell on the shore.
