I Searched The World Poem by Scott Barrymore

I Searched The World

Rating: 5.0

I searched the planet, the entire world,
Trying to find, that one special girl.
I searched the sea, land, and shore.
Looking for love and so much more.

I felt lost among the billion grains of sand.
What would I do, what was my plan?
I listened to the wind, hoping to hear.
That soft gentle voice making everything so clear.

Be patient, I heard.
Not the most comforting word.
Still, I knew there was a destiny for me to know.
So, I released it to God, letting his power control.

Then one day, I saw her face.
Her eyes of beauty, her angelic grace.
What thought or act could I do?
To show my gratitude, for the chance to love you!
