Our Love Poem by Scott Barrymore

Our Love

Rating: 5.0

The moon returns to its hiding place.
As the sunlight begins to touch my face.
It was not the sun that produced this event.
It is the light from her eyes, gallantly sent.

She's taken me into her arms.
Her love healing all past harm.
One chapter of my life, now left behind.
With her I see, no longer am I blind.
New lessons from her, now begin.
Teaching the truth of where I have been.

Her smile is healing love.
I feel it, in each little act she does.
I wonder how I could measure.
Each of her deeds being such a treasure.
Now I give thanks, on bended knee.
I pray our love will always be.

A beautiful poem of love. A love that holds us spellbound. A well expressed poem.
