Imaginings 2 (1988) . Poem by Dennis Green

Imaginings 2 (1988) .

Maybe if we
(everyone of us)
gave just a piece of our love,
gathered all in a bundle, and then:

Together if we huffed and heaved
couldn't we fling it clear to the moon?

Yes!

Then our bundle (being love and shining)
would splash dazzling over that moon,

and all the stars and we would stand
knowing proud in our hearts, and joy,

at having such a moon happy shine,
with love.
