If Only Poem by Energy Mavaza

If Only

Who holds the life picture?
Vantagely capturing it
On view-point of the future.
Who?
Who sees through the seasons?
Trapping winds of unknown reasons.
Who glides past the inevitable deeds?
Holding destiny's locker keys.
The map of destiny's route,
Who has it?
Surely not by anyone who stands under
A realm that another dictates.
But the depth in divine wisdom
Is too deep for canal shrewdness.
If only,
If only we live tomorrow today
Dodging decoys of tomorrow's mystery
We could have lived today in history
If only.
