If A Bird Didn'T Fly Poem by Jordan Ray

If A Bird Didn'T Fly

How sad it would be if
a bird didn't fly
Though given wings,
it never would try
Because of the fear of falling
from grace
So it stayed on the ground,
the cat's prey, making waste
For the bird was created
with wings to fly high
How often we're like
a bird who won't fly

Afraid of the risk
of falling from grace

As we rush around,
making haste, making waste
Hope and faith are the wings
God's given to us
That we might fly high,
in Him place our trust

So many dreams buried,
talents covered by sand
Because of our fears of
rejection by man

But love makes a promise,
Hope won't disappoint
If by faith we believe Him,
and that is the point

A bird with wings to fly is a good example for the man to learn how to overcome and get on with life-A good poem to read and learn.
