If
If I had a day extra
We would watch the glowing Eko masquerades
Dance to legends in our best attire
We would sing and dance everyday
In our ever flowing regalia.
We would sing our childhood songs like we don't care
Dancing in the rain like innocent children
We would walk naked with no shame and no fear
Tomorrow isn't promised, I wish I knew then.

If I had a moment extra
Before the earth called you home
I would kiss you without fear
Defile religions we hold dear
I would make each second count
I would love you without doubt.

If I had a day extra

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Life's too short. If you love someone tell them. Tomorrow is uncertain. If someone offends you, make peace, it might be the last time you both will be together. Learn to love, learn to be crazy, learn to be hardworking above all learn to be happy.
