I've Fallen Poem by Tyler Marshall

I've Fallen

Rating: 5.0

Shuddering rains of a deathless hate
Pierce our altars with doubting cold
So long to your frivolous fate
With halls of mourning, never to return again.
Stones marked memorial forging a masquerade
I'm falling.

Our tugging strings left in tune
Our voice that carries to the skies
No warmth or light emits itself
Dampened cloth under rays of moon
The world around me dies
None will heed the lies
And witness a child's cry
I'm falling.
When will they realize?
We've fallen.

The river left still, bodes no reflection
I will never again feel summers warmth
My skins cracked, coagulation with fleeting complexion
Forget the innocence, and beckon winters transgression
Tell me now, is this all I've left in remembrance?
Lost senses, left me forever to wander
I've fallen.

I would love to quote these lines I loved most. The world around me dies None will heed the lies And witness a child's cry I'm falling. An amazing poem from an emerging poet, so talented. These poems appeal your reader with a greater depth than those by Frost or Wordsworth. Love your imagination and great skill of choosing the right word. Subhas
