I Still Could Not See The Sun Poem by Sergio D'Amico

I Still Could Not See The Sun

Rating: 2.5

I woke up to a world of dreams,
a place where my thoughts
could live and run.
But you came alone
and gave them life,
now my dreams are gone
and my thoughts
have no place to hide.

My thoughts are no longer mine,
whipped by the breath
of a voiceless wind,
orphans left behind.
I step on Fragments
of a broken mirror,
reflecting silent memories.
There is no flow of words,
just a taper in my thoughts.

Drown me in your feelings,
sweep the world from beneath me,
I am an impatient pond of water
sitting by the sea,
waiting for the tide,
waiting to reunite.
I emerged from beneath your shadow,
but I still could not see the Sun.

If you cant see it still, just feel it. sense it....let the light send the warm as deep as it can...no matter how it appears, the matter is how it is to us_Soul
