I Only Catch A Distant Mirage... Poem by Julie Anjani

I Only Catch A Distant Mirage...

Do not be angry, black-eyed gentleman, if keeping
A loyalty to my feeling, I touched your heart chords.
I only catch a distant mirage while I'm sleeping -
And I apologize shyly for this liberty of plots.

My path leads to the sad abode of lonely women.
I try accept this fact, but my soul to do not wants.
Sometimes I rush behind it in a high flight, dreaming,
To castles in the air from ghostly shining worlds.

Knowing that the merciless fate is just deceiving,
I try forget my wondrous vision, putting the dots.
But, having understood the deepest secret meaning -
Unwittingly, I come back to you again with thoughts...
