I am myself
I am..human
I try to be ok
But i'm not
I cant call out for help for the voices wont let me
You are you
You are human
You say you don't care if you are ok or not
You say you are fine
You're not
You don't want help you push the people who try to help away
Say you don't need them
I respect that
For i am me and you are you
We are different yet slightly the same
It's hard to make work
I find a way
You say that you don't care what happens as long as you can do what you want
I respect that
I make myself ok with that
For i am me, and you are you
We fight
I do my best to fix it
I try to talk about things
You say that you don't care and you don't want to deal with it
But you also say you love me no matter what
I believe you
But then you start acting like you don't love me
I accept it, and i respect it
For i am me and you are you
Maybe you're just bad at showing how you feel
Ya...thats it
We fight more
You tell me you are considering ending things between us
I tell you to do whatever would make you happy
I tell you not to worry about how i feel
A few days later you say it was all wrong
You say you love me and always wanna be with me
You say you're giving me something that will change everything
I believe you when you say you love me again
I believe you when you say you never want to be without me
You give me a ring
That ring is supposed to be a promise you will love me forever
I take it
I trust you, i believe you
We fight again
You say you don't care enough to deal with it
You ignore me
You distance yourself
But i respect that
For i am me and you are you
I start to wonder if i can keep doing this
Because i am me and you are you
And maybe that's our issue
You need to respect that
For i am me….but you are you
