HOME
As you travel the four corners of the world,
In a manner so humble or in a manner bold;
For business or pleasure you may roam,
You'll find there's no place better than home.

The charm of travel so distant take us here and there,
Also seeking pleasures and enjoying them elsewhere;
The sandy beaches of Hawaii or the paved streets of Rome,
They all fall short to your memories of home sweet home.

Castles and houses that dazzle with splendor,
Do look so lowly to the your humble cottage asunder;
The birds and the beasts that come at your call,
Gives you peace and tranquility worth more than all.

Wanting the sun and the moon as a child you did cry,
Now as an adult from home you want to fly;
Think of the beauty you see from your cottage door,
The fragrant air around you does cheer you more and more.

How splendid it is to sit with your kith and kin,
Huddling them in your arms, their smiles you win;
For you their love would always be there,
Except at home you wouldn't get it elsewhere.

The trees and flowers in your home bring you cheer,
Away from home you'd miss, a price you pay so dear;
Some may say that for such trifle things they don't care,
Yearning for them every morning, noon and night unaware.

As you walk along the fields heavy with dew,
All will be gay when the morning sun wakes anew;
Home would be where your heart would always be,
Even if you are Thousands of miles across the sea.

As you travel the world over your life you try to recapture,
The mirage in your heart does carelessly rapture;
Even if you happened to live like a gnome,
There's no better place than home sweet home.
