Freedom, Modern Mental Illness Poem by Lee Boueri

Freedom, Modern Mental Illness

Rating: 5.0

Eat all your vegies
be seen and not heard
dont talk to strangers
give up the last word
Listen intently
to whats taught at school
church every sunday
and don't break any rules

go on to uni
remember your free
over achieve
get that second degree
find a good job
learn how to save
buy a nice house
teach your kids to behave

Go to the gym
watch what you eat
remember your free
keep your home neat
keep up with the news
have lots of nice friends
remember your free
when does it end?

Remember your free
as you drive off today
keep your thoughts to yourself
cause there's not much to say
set your self free
driving into the bay
