My Life In Colour Poem by Lee Boueri

My Life In Colour

Rating: 5.0

My life in colour
.
As I age in shades of gray
and reminisce 'bout younger days
I've been wrong and I've been right
Rarely are things black and white
.
I was mean due to envy green
Feigned mellow when scared yellow
Insults said, friendships dead
steaming white bellowed from my head
embarrassing moments I went red
.
But thoughts of you, pretty as pink
cause my crimson heart to sink
That very day my world turned blue
Was the day that I lost you
