Goodbye At The Station Poem by Lee Boueri

Goodbye At The Station

Rating: 5.0

Goodbye at the Station

My Memory forged that fateful day

My tears betrayed my need

My Loss

My heart now filled with shades of grey

My soul I left behind

My God

My dream offered up to a whistling guard

My Lips refuse to hear

My Grief

My Life reduced to a sliding door

My train can wait no more

My Pain

My time with you has come to end

My thoughts will always be of you when I recall

My joy

My soul will yearn its earthly mate, and

My heart will bleed

My Love
