Father Poem by Tshenolo Ntau

Father

Rating: 5.0

Do you ever rest?
Or to you rest is for the lazy
Do you ever sleep?
Or to you sleep is for the coward

For you are not one of them
You don't dare to travel
Nor to dig untapped soils
Nor search in the undiscovered territories
Nor toil the soil under the scorching sun
Nor shepherd your animals through the dry lands

Milestones are reached by a few
Those who take risks
Those who dream big
For a man is as big as a his dreams

An insightful piece of poetry set aside for sober reflection. Beautiful and inspirational. Thanks for sharing Tshenolo.
