Contentment Poem by Tshenolo Ntau

Contentment

Rating: 5.0

Scarce as a hen's teeth
Priceless as gold
Precious as diamond
Far from reach
Beyond imagination
Chased endlessly by many without reach
Yet close and within
If only one can search from within
Break the walls of fallacy and stereotypes of life
Rescue the inner men from self judgement
Rescue the inner man from harsh waves of life
Rescue the inner man from expectations heavy load on shoulders
Let the bark serve its purpose to protect the inner man
Guard jealously the sap not to lose moisture
Allow the inner man to suck from the pitch of life
Allow the inner man to be nourished by the deep rooted conscious of contentment

Well conceived and elegantly brought forth with insight. A beautiful philosophical piece written with artistic brilliance. A work of art. Thanks for sharing.
