Eternal Mother Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Eternal Mother

Rating: 5.0

I must let go!
Slowly I realise that I can't control time,
But I would like to have another chance,
To tell her good-bye
Lord, let me whisper I love you to her
And touch her soft, greyish hair,
For the last time
And make me know that,
She loved me unconditionally.
Amen

The invisible bond betwixt Mother and child can never be broken, even death. Beautiful poem, well captured. Thank you for sharing, dear LeeAnn.
