Empty Promises Poem by Deluke Muwanigwa

Empty Promises

Rating: 4.3

Empty Promises

The day of promise
Bringing fourth hope
Our love chronic

Walking hand in hand
Showing our devotion
Hearts beating and

Anticipating things to come
In the garden
Citrus of plum

Looking for that apple
That juicy sweet natural fruit
Plentiful in the middle of April

You promised to give
I was ready to recieve
Then you turned to leave

You said another day
Patience!
What can i say?

Empty promises

" You promised to give I was ready to receive Then you turned to leave" ... unpredictability is part of life and there are people who are obsessively unpredictable... Thanks...
