Devil Poem by Clive Culverhouse

Devil

Rating: 5.0

devil
spread half truths
to followers
who see the raven fly

devil
hide your face
under the moon
and as we dwell, leave us

this path through hoards
of history's gold
watched by years
of rising land
and waters fill
and empties whole
and time is feet
out walking

devil
cast your eyes
upon the sand
then take the hourglass

devil
watch us
as we die
but keep within us land
