Dear Faith Poem by Michael Ordia

Dear Faith

Dear Faith,
Why is the world a scary and confused place to live
What is our purpose? Are we pawns in your hands
Why should we pay for the devil's sins?
Why do men kill one another?
Why are the evil ones enjoying success and the good reap failure
Innocent children loose their lives in Syria
While some benefit from the sales of war
Why do new born babies die and murderers granted long life
Why the deaths in the North? While some play political chess
Why the inferno in Lagos? While terrorist live freely.
Why the daily killings of blacks round the world? What's our crime?
Why racism? Why class? Why hatred? Why?
Why do religions hate one another? Isn't love your true foundation?
Are you really bothered? Sitting up there watching evil mock good
Do you listen to our daily cries? Are you really there?
Pardon my heresy, I'm just concerned about humanity, my true religion
