Choti Si Ghazal
Khuda ko dhoondh len ge pehle insan dhoondh lene do,
Mujhe afsanae Adam ka unuan dhoondh lene do.
Mujhe maloom hay manzil to Hawa thi jo ab bhi hay,
Yeh mitti jisne goondhi thi woh arman dhoondh lene do.
Woh jisne kar diya roshan meri tareek dharti ko,
Woh bheegi bheegi aankhon wala insan dhoondh lene do.
Kahan per gum hue wade khan per kho gaeen qasmen,
Woh jisko tum bhula baithe woh paiman dhoondh lene do.
Watan ki subhe nau ko phir koi mazloom mil jae,
Jo subhen lae woh shame ghariban dhoondh lene do.
