Born Rich, Died Poor Poem by Bernedita Rosinha Pinto

Born Rich, Died Poor

Rich people never like to be challenged
rich people never like to be mistreated
rich people never like to be disrespected;
rich people are always humble
rich people are always understanding
rich people are always generous;
rich people expect reciprocation
rich people expect mutual trust
rich people expect love and friendship;
rich people hate deprivation
rich people hate humiliation
rich people hate hindrance;
rich people are blessed
rich people are benevolent
rich people are self-centered;
rich people do not disturb others
rich people do not like others to disturb them
rich people are full of self-admiration;
rich people are envied
rich people are hated
rich people are unloved;
rich people are those who are born rich
rich people are those who inherit wealth
rich people are those who enjoy legacies;
rich people are noble
rich people are righteous
rich people are gracious;
rich people live with a name
rich people die with a fame
rich people have a tombstone that reads-
'born rich, died poor, for love'.
