Blah Poem by Andy Sayasone

Blah

Once upon a time I had a reason,
Wake up everyday,
embrace the season.
Wake up smile content hey,
Even better than yesterday.

I'm trying to be the perfect man,
You always wanted,
unspoken demand.
Look into my eyes,
I swear I've held no lies.

Every day every night,
Working to be better fixed,
Pain free but a hand length reaching out of sight.
Tramadol floating able to sleep,
Into the sweet dreams here I leap.

I can dream a made up past,
What I thought was real,
Forever in my arms at last.
Dried mouth lost in the dessert,
Let it last I feel alive provoked hurt.

Reality hits in a sweep of dove,
Feels so different life's changed,
All in the name of tragic love.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Lost love and I've been doing weights to get bigger for better me but I've caused a stress fracture and I've been in pain ever since. It's been nearly a year now and I've been in pain ever since physically and emotionally. This pain is a reminder that I was doing it to be a better me in hopes for her to notice me again maybe in hopes of her to come back but all is lost now taking tramadol doing cortisones waiting until I'm better but it seems like it's not getting better and only in my dreams I can even be happy.
