12/12/13 Poem by Andy Sayasone

12/12/13

Once a mistake,
Forced the link to break.
Stop and thought about my own,
A regret I live with alone.
A smile blue or brown eyes,
Deceit hidden bump under lies.
If I could love and hold you,
Smile, a face you would love too.
Wishing in time you would forgive,
As I for myself,
A life unable to live.
forced to one side,
Inevitable a choice I choose to hide.
Inside a hole stuck in the end,
Blank face merged with two,
Can't change life's wicked bend,
Religion tales of a sin living in my mind or is it you?
Minds blank, simple torture,
Short pain lived insufferable departure.
An apology is all I can offer,
I am sorry for my irresponsible decisions,
I didn't want you to suffer,
Now I am regretting remorse dispositioned.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Finding out a couple weeks after a breakup my ex was pregnant but there was no chance for us to get back together or keep our child her decision was made so I just went along with it. Still inlove it hurt even more but I said I would support whatever decision she made but I can't help but feel bad she knows my religion is against abortion but she had already made the decision anyway having the doctors abortion note ready for the clinic.
