Do You? Poem by Andy Sayasone

Do You?

Everyday life flashes past,
An endless torture at last,
Flustered flash backs playing praying.

Fake smiles come to an end,
Moonlight strikes everlasting in need of a close friend,
Thoughts pour out.
I'm bleeding.

Reality hits butterflies die,
Trying so hard to get back on that natural high.
I think of your smile,
brings me back to life for a nights while.
A poison that keeps me afloat above that ceiling to floor hanging line.

My minds racing with every thought,
Stupid mistakes a son or daughter the heavens bought.
Spilt blood unknowingly my own actions,
I'm sorry cursed for my own attraction and satisfactions.

I saw someone else a light deep within those blue eyes,
Where my heart could rest without life's worries and goodbyes.
It gets harder everyday,
I wonder what do you think? What do you do? What do you say.

Love is a lust gripping onto our very soul,
There's always a price to become more than whole.
I was higher than heavens gate,
Brought down left with an unseen fate.

Struggling with thoughts and physical pain,
Diseased paralytic freak slowly going insane.

Everything fell one after another,
Domino affect my life fell smothered.

I still love you short and sweet,
Replay all that happened just to be with you.
Again we meet.

Almost made it past,
Why couldn't it last?
A little longer I could of made it okay.
Just maybe.

I had something to look forward to,
Just to be with you,
My perfect dream faded away.

Sometimes I wonder,
Do you even think about me?
Does your heart sink under?
Did I see the fake or the real?

My life turned around the day that I met you,
Happy enlightenment my forever new.

Strangers we are,
Torn ripped from my heart self inflicted from far.
I looked pass the lies,
Understanding now the lows and the highs.
I'm stuck.

Drugs and alcohol numb the pain,
Free running soaked wet in the rain.
All I wonder is have you ever felt the same?
Was it just a lie or a personal claim.

I miss your every quirk smile voice my baby blue.
Do you?
