A Visit To The Hi-Cave Poem by Olusanya Anjorin

A Visit To The Hi-Cave

I decided to pay a visit to the hi-cave
To see the hullabaloo all talked about
Hi-cave, the home of the brave
Wow, tout having a drinking bout

You can't imagine the countless cars
Parked waiting to enter the hole
All waiting a pleasant scar
See bikinied girls dole from the hole

All sorts of shapes and shades
Old and young all ecstatic
All objects made of jade
I was pragmatically static

Who would prevent DAVE
Who paid a visit to the hi-cave
Not to give in to BETHSABA in her own cave
And cliff to have a declining hake

What an irony of life
The roof caved in with music
And all shout yea, yell-live
And seeing all sorts of mosaic

Men sipping beers at the bars
Girls being scurried away
I was lucky to escape the experience on a par
As I hurriedly moved sideways
