A Leaf At A Time Poem by Pasquale DiMeola

A Leaf At A Time

Locate me a cottage in the deep woods
Embraced by nature's deciduous goods
An owl or two hooting throughout the night

Anticipating the seasonal change
The early morning fog rolling in strange
The sun and moon casting their blessed light

A kind of presence one can never make
With the love of my life for romance sake
Adding her passion to set it all right.
