Kingdom Of Cuckoldom Poem by Pasquale DiMeola

Kingdom Of Cuckoldom

Rating: 5.0

At the instant when the heart
Jettisons out of the mouth
Misery will play its part
To instill an awful doubt

As the body sways from pain
Then the head is tilted back
All the screaming in the rain
Echoes from the love you lack

Oh the glory and the bliss
In a body once anew
Like a paperboat you miss
Sailing to a sea of blue

Walking empty to the gutter
Nothing left to be assuage
Just a name softly muttered
In what tormented mirage.
