Not for the first time in my life,
Do I have to part with a friend,
All the nice moments and times of hard strife
And all the nice teachings I get from them Go to an irritating end
...
The birth of a child-a miracle of nature,
The world prays for them to grow big in stature;
Provided with the best possible within the means,
On a foundation of high hopes now his future leans;

Like martin Luther king jr. said I have a dream,
Caste based reservation gone for the cream;
Where scams aren’t the only thing you hear about,
Black money not making politicians’ kids stout;

Today I sit thinking what I shall do,
Staring at the walls and the boards alike,
Puzzled completely in my mind.
O God! I make a question why?

Ever since my childhood I had a passion to join the army;
But maybe it was something not meant for me;
Tried thrice,
But every time failed like a novice;

i was born on 4th july 1992, in chandimandir. my father is an indian air force officer. i moved from place to place all my life. i changed 8 schools and gained good exposure. my high school was the time i realised i had to either join the army or become a lawyer. but my father had other plans to make me do engineering and so i ended up in manipal institute of technology. it was a good college but engineering didn't interest me at all.)

Parting With Friends
Not for the first time in my life,
Do I have to part with a friend,
All the nice moments and times of hard strife
And all the nice teachings I get from them Go to an irritating end
At times I ask myself in my heart deep inside
Does the feeling of pain of separation
Makes only me cry deep inside
Or all of us affected of a friend’s deprivation.
I have a friend who is going today
I learnt a lot from him one day
He told me the secret of success achievement
But today all I have is a parted friend’s bereavement.
I see this all every once in a while
But this is necessary to take him success for miles.
I want to learn to take this pain
And go ahead without crying in vain.
