Caleb Kanayo Poems

Desidero amittere spiritum meum in aerem,
Et pulsus meos pulsare in silentio sono.
Essentia mea perditur in spatio,
Sibilus clamorem existentiae.

I looked for death
In the corner of my room
But found stuffy strings
Cobwebs similar to loom
...

Home is where I'd go
Cause home is where you'd be
Home is all I know
Home is all I see
...

It's falling
It's falling apart
I think I'm keeping it
Keeping, holding it together
...

Gather up, you creatures of the light,
Vermin and critters, take your flight,
Giants of the soil, rise from the depths,
Sentients of darkness, where despair hath slept
...

In cradled slumber, fragile and small,
A child enters a world of wonder and awe.
Helpless and innocent, pure and serene,
Unaware of the chaos that lies in between.
...

I thread on autumn soil
Feeling the cold breeze
Without a sole on me
Skin white from autumn's sleaze
...

My little angel rests in his crib
My ray of sunshine in the darkness he is
While I wipe the food off his dib
Squawk! ! ! A little bluehead peeks
...

Your laugh so pretty
My being you amuse
I can't stand for too long
I'm falling for you
...

Greed, she's got a glint in her eyes so green,
Counting her riches, in a world so obscene.
Pride struts around with arrogance and grace,
Thinking she's the queen in this endless race.

The Best Poem Of Caleb Kanayo

Amator Mortis; Abibat

Desidero amittere spiritum meum in aerem,
Et pulsus meos pulsare in silentio sono.
Essentia mea perditur in spatio,
Sibilus clamorem existentiae.

Cupio os meum
Cantare carmen mortuorum,
Et coxis ad excutiendum
Ad rhythmum terrae.

Volo clamare voce silentii
In lucem claram tenebrarum,
Ponam cum inanimatis
Mortui mei simillima.

The intended translation and actual translation may differ on some lines but this is what it is meant to be. It just had to be posted in Latin.

Lover of Death; Abibat
I long to lose my breath to the air
And my pulse drum to the beat of silence
My essence lost in space
Whistling the cry of existence

I want my mouth
To sing the song of the dead
And my hips to shake
To the rhythm of the ground

I want to shout the sound of stillness
In the bright light of darkness
Let me lay with the lifeless
The dead my very likeness
