Tor Silvertongue Poems

Though ships of wood have turned to steel,
And shirts of mail have turned to cotton
Rest your weary souls, my brothers.
For we have not forgotten.

Chrysalis

My minds' got more bodies than graveyards,
Tears that fall like atom bombs
...

Sir, I see you walking in my land,
Mighty sword and shield in hand.
You preach of this God,
This dying man.
...

Looking in the mirror,
Hating my own reflection.
Shatter it into shards,
For my own protection.
...

5.

I step through these streets,
Trying to find myself.
My heart is gone, my life is empty.
My soul is lost, my love has died.
...

Hatred
I hate this
I hate who I've become. More so than who I was.
I hate that I was every given a home
...

Comfort under stars
I cannot find it
Except Inside your arms.
...

Beautiful stars falling from the sky,
Impacting the world like shattered lives.
Why is it that something so beautifully innocent,
Can destroy everything that we love
...

Let my words caress your skin,
As my hands slide like the feathers of a dove.
Every single breath that escapes my lips,
Glides rapture like a feather as light as love.
...

The world once seemed bright,
I never thought we'd lose our way.
Until the day that I looked back,
And found that only two had stayed.
...

The ravens whisper in my ear,
With Odin's pride in my heart,
I stand before you with no fear.
...

She's the Alice to my Hatter,
I'm the Joker to her Quinn.
She keeps telling me I ain't crazy,
With that maniacal grin.

Not Forgotten

Though ships of wood have turned to steel,
And shirts of mail have turned to cotton
Rest your weary souls, my brothers.
For we have not forgotten.

Our enemies have become memories,
Our axes were torn away.
The forges have grown cold with time,
But one mettles' there to stay.

We were the fears of Romans,
The wolves who sought sheep to slaughter.
We've no need of an Independence Day,
For our hearts were never conquered.

We live on in ideas,
Forever shall our honor hold true.
Know that you cannot kill and idea.
But, one can certainly kill you.
