As we walk thro' these years of our life,
our time on this earth is such a sorrowful one;
every time when someone utters your name
every moment someone recollects your days with us,
our hearts revolve a million times with a grief so profound
that we keep missing you each day and night
as you loved and cared for all of us so affectionately;

and all thro' your life you were a brother so understanding
as you always kept our courage and determination afloat
that today when we want to touch you and embrace you,
we lament we cannot even see you just for a while
though we can see the moon which is so many miles away;

if only could invention halt the event of death
if only could life go on until the universe lasts,
this earth would have been such a wonderful planet
but as per the plan of God, the journey of life
which begins with the first cry has to end with the last breath;

so, we have to accept this truth and endure your absence
and though a brother as dear as you may not be with us today,
your encouraging words and ardent compassion
remains in our hearts as lessons to cherish and follow
to keep up our harmony and unity in full strength:

it was only a brother like who you could instruct us perfectly
to carry on endlessly the commitment of love and care
which until today we share and adhere to in your name;
and we pray that may God keep you and us
in His blessing of peace and placidness
until in that paradise called Heaven we meet again.
