Who Is Who Poem by Nkosilathi Zinyane

Who Is Who

Who holds the compass of times
That tells of the future and past alike.
Who amongst the world is wise
That can calculate the stubs of grass.
Who has worn the godly apparel
Whose fear can never be apparent.

Whose ways are so upright
That they can lay claim to pride.
Whose victory is so certain
When the foe uses an unknown pattern.
Whose voice is so mighty
That can cause earth, rain wind and fire to fright.

What energy pumps the heart?
That gives a man a chance to life.
Where can one find the remedy
To heal the worlds enmity.
Which of the men on earth
Knows the paths of tomorrow's sun.

When will man acknowledge that
The path of the wise is in their palms
