When The Star Will Not Shine Poem by asoke ray

When The Star Will Not Shine

When the dark clouds will cease to come
Thunder and lightning will disappear
And the rains will not shower
The shape of you would be lost forever;
Blue of the sky will shine brighter
Gale will bring fall from northern hills
Shorter days will fuse into nights' solace
Only you would not be there beside the fireplace;
Pages of my book will fall into a deep crevice
The day you will cease to be there
The nights will never be the same dear
As the dreams shared with you
Shall be put under hammer……
