Blaze Poem by asoke ray

Blaze

Dry and arid and harsh that now the canvas is,
Raging gale blowing furnace with ease
A splash into the golden river
Does not make me cool either
Nowadays life is like a burning effigy;
Sucked-up bodies lay flat on the floor
Unsurmountable peak of thirst
Blocks the mind’s heart
A bird was bathing in dust, in disgust
Cattles taking shelter beneath a green-less tree
Nowadays life is like that, living in a tandoor
Where sintered nature floats on the mirage
The show is free……
