What Would Jesus Do?

Rating: 2.8

Praise God my soul for saving grace
Praise God for life anew
That others too may see His face
What would my Jesus do?

Blessed is the soul on higher ground
Blessed is the heart found meek
That more on earth be Heaven bound
How would my Jesus speak?

Blessed is the heart no longer stone
Cleansed by The Risen Sun
That more may smile before His throne?
What will have Jesus done?

Neighbours and friends fall daily short
Blinded they’re led astray
How may they see The True Report?
What would my Jesus say?

How can they reach the deeper things?
Salvation’s Light pursue?
That they may rise on eagle wings
What would my Jesus do?

How would He shift their house from sand?
How would He change their view?
Building towards The Promised Land
What would my Jesus do?

Seeing their plight, their constant pain
Drinking satanic brew
That more in truth be born again
What would my Jesus do?

Being obedient, showing you care
Loving with all your might
Serving in Jesus standing in prayer
Pressing towards The Light

Lovely piece depicting total submission to the Will of the Lord. A well articulated piece of poetry, written with spiritual insight. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
