What Wisdom Is Learned Listening Yet Saying Little? Poem by Terence George Craddock

What Wisdom Is Learned Listening Yet Saying Little?

there is wisdom in listening and saying little
what is the lesson learned listening yet saying little?
how is it wise to not engage in stranger group conversations?
how is it wise to silent listen wait out heated arguments?

engaging dominant in group conversations advances our own opinions
what is lost is knowledge of other ideas personalities perspectives
how will we know upon first meeting who says much who says little?
how will we know who bullies drives home points who speaks little?

ideas dominant important soon surface for those who silent listen
what accurate lessons learned are strengths weaknesses in arguments?
how is deep topic knowledge contrasted with angry emotive opinions?
how is deep sage wisdom sought or assassinated who will sow harmony?

This poem is a solution technique for some of the themes raised by the poems 'Involved In Wives Arguments', 'Learn To Make Up Like Little Children? ', 'Opinionated Interference' and 'Not Weak Wise'.
