Welcome Home Poem by Derick Stinson

A tidal wave of love rolls in to the shore as the sun sets in a red hue,
Sense of peace and longing at the unexpected emergence of an angel of radiance,
Turn to face the misting frothy water that approaches and becomes the completeness of you,
Close your eyes and raise your arms to accept the energy that flows, laying down the fence,
Enveloped and protected by the aura leading into the final awareness of her arrival,
Enlightened and hopeful with gently sighs of happiness and joy,
Her light merged with mine, ensures my complete survival,
Eminating the light that was always needed and without knowing,
I have opened my arms to her, my sparkle, the angel I shall give heaven,
As beautiful as a monarch butterfly flutters in for the spring colors starting to arrive,
The flower that could never bloom has started to open and darkness shall not be left within,
Where it shadowed us before, for now is our time, the time of love for us to strive,
Straight into each other's arms, where we will complete our souls into one brilliant light,
Welcoming home the revelation of pure peace that is restoring my inner sight.
