We were sitting in the jardin du luxembourg Poem by Lutz Seiler

We were sitting in the jardin du luxembourg

we were sitting in the jardin du luxembourg. there was
a café under chestnut trees, the chairs
were placed on pebble. there was a breeze and

it was october, there was the sun in october.
tha man didn't know whether to look
at the woman now, his absence

begged for her presence, she begged for
the chestnuts, the table & the pebble
underfoot. he didn't know

whether to look at her, but he wanted
to take her away into his sleep
like a return to old friendship…
