We The People Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

We The People

Failing, falling, sinking
Into the vortex of lies
Are nations succumbing
To the their own demise.

Blinded by rhetoric,
Intoxicated malaise,
Due collapse is so tragic
Spelled in coming days.

Of the few in power
There is no one of worth,
As pedestals of terror
Desire to own the earth.

Where are the brave, we ask
Those who stand for truth,
The noble who will unmask
Vile Deception's fruit.

Are we the brave now blind?
Are we the noble deaf?
Will we cower in fear to find
Of our freedom, nothing's left?

Excellent poem with very pertinent questions being asked! Our politicians are most all corrupt, especially obama the muslim traitor! We the People and our devoted Vets are the brave ones now and are united despite what the media says! Everyone is locked and loaded, ready to defend our nation against all enemies domestic and foreign. Stay strong, have faith, America will be great again, Donald Trump is the best man for the job! That's why everyone is doing their best to talk trash against him! Great poem! I invite you to read my poetry if you'd like. Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn
