We Shall Play Again Poem by Marlon Khoza

We Shall Play Again

Rating: 5.0

When the lockdown end
we shall reach up the sky
with our huefull innocent wings
We shall soar
and oh hell yeah,
we shall revitalize all we lost
gleefully so until dusk
We shall glitter the night with dreams
fill the horizon with hope
Until crack of dawn usher nothing
But sunshines to our shores

Verily we won't mind the new rain
Its the beginning of new dawn
On it we shall dance again
Chase each other crazily,
happily and joyfully so
Without fear of living like caged animals
On it we shall clap as we croon together
again like birds of the same feathers
When lockdown end
We shall play together
And be happy again
