We Do Not Need To Be President To Help Our Countries Poem by Hebert Logerie

We Do Not Need To Be President To Help Our Countries

We do not need to be president to help our countries
We do not need to be president to save our communities
In America, we are all immigrants
We are the descendants from another country, our parents
Came from a different land
They were born on different sand
Our countries are passing through a dangerous tunnel
Something may burst somewhere raising the level
Of danger pretty high
Under the heavy clouds in the sky
We need to get together to improve things
It should not be business as usual. The rings
Are surrounded by angry lions and ferocious tigers
We need to find a way to defeat the predators
We need to overhaul and change the system from top to bottom
Let's fight for our children to the maximum
Our children deserve better housing, food, and education
We are new on this land, which belong to the Native Indians
We are all different, we are all immigrants
Let's love and protect each other and our nations
With passion and devotion by taking positive actions
Toward all human beings
And by enjoying the beautiful scenes.
